SERVICE MATTERS

Service matter are matters that relate to conditions of service in association with affairs of any State, Union, local authority, or any other authority within the territory of India or that which is under the control of Government of India or of any corporation or body owned by the Government of India.

In addition, it covers the following matters that form the terms and conditions of employment in India:

• Remuneration, which includes allowances, pension, and any other retirement benefits
• Leaves
• Disciplinary matters
